Why I got a used Pixel phone

I’ve been team Apple for a while now, but last week, I got a used Pixel 6 phone off Walmart for $150. The reason I got it was because apparently Pixel and Motorola phones have the ability to have 5 different “profiles” on each phone. There are probably more Android phones that have these, but these are the two most popular ones; apparently Samsung has turned off this ability on their phone. So why do I want 5 different profiles? Well, each profile can run its own set of apps and logins for each app and you can quickly toggle among them. This means for instance you can have each profile running a different Uber Eats account or a Ticketmaster account. Unfortunately you’ll still be sharing the same network connection and I’m not sure if each profile has its own device ID (Ibotta bans). Now I’m sure you’re saying you can easily just toggle logins, but what if each login required a 2FA that has a different phone number? This way, you don’t have to login each time. I can now sell off some of my Xfinity iPhones since I no longer need 5 iPhones when I have one Pixel.

    1. Thanks; I tried to do it w/o root but it seems impossible. I also read rooting may cause issues with bank apps, so I guess I’ll just stick to 5.
