In one of the weirder ‘how the hell did that happen’ stories… our friends at Safeway were giving out rewards for all VGC back when they moved to Incomm. Then for some unknown reason, they turned off rewards for a certain flavor of VGC, but yet all the other VGC were earning. Then they KILLED ALL VGC. But then in mid December, the variant that they specifically turned OFF started earning again. And lasted for a good month and a half before it died again on 2/1.
You have to wonder if it was a mistake or if they were intentionally rewarding on them. Just makes no sense. I really don’t see them turning it back on; it had to have been a mistake. Lesson learned once again – when buying VGC, buy ALL the different flavors and you might be surprised. Also, beware of changes that happen at the beginning of the month.
Vinh, do the existing pts in the acct still get applied to purch after clipping?
Yea they’ve never gone and removed points after the fact
1 dp on FT indicated that the clipped pts didn’t apply to organic purch; hope it was a temp glitch…
