Amazon FBA reverses orders and then marks units as not received a month later

The more I deal with Amazon, the more I hate it. I used to care a lot about my Amazon account, but once they closed my account and stole my money, I just DGAF about them anymore. And in one of the craziest stores that has happened to me so far in FBA land: I sent in 5 of the same items in late November. They get checked in and then they went IN TRANSIT to other warehouses and eventually are marked AS AVAILABLE on Nov 29. Then by Dec 9, all 5 have been sold. I thought I was good…

Fast forward a month and a half and Amazon removes the customer orders and then marks the units as NOT RECEIVED. Like HOW THE FUCK DID I MAKE 5 SALES and now all of a sudden, you go, “You know what, we never actually got the units…” LIKE WHERE THE FUCK DID THE 5 UNITS GO?!?! DID YOU NOT TRANSIT 5 UNITS AROUND? WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU IN TRANSITING? DID THOSE 5 CUSTOMERS RECEIVE AIR?

It’s a fuckin shit show with them and their warehouses these days.

  1. Sorry this has happened to you, but this kind of thing happens all the time with FBA, and I’ve been singing this song forever now. Just nonstop headache with FBA, and good luck fighting it out with their worthless support agents. Usually I’d just give up and eat the loss after sending 20 replies in 2 months and banging my head on a wall. FBA is only worth doing if you run a private label business, and even then I’d think about using a different fulfillment company or just self fulfilling. You can negotiate good rates with Fedex/UPS these days. I closed up my FBA shop years ago, and I’m sad to see that this dumpster fire is still burning strong.

I sent a few boxes full of tablets that were “never received” and then a month later I see on the news that a bunch of employees were fired from that warehouse because they had tons of tablets stuffed into their work lockers. I was never fully reimbursed, and the items were never added to my inventory. Just not worth doing business with them in most cases.

Good luck getting a resolution to this.
