Another day, another ban. I knew something was wrong when I ordered a deal of the day item last night and this morning, I woke up to a cancellation. Then I remembered of all the previously cancelled orders. I’m not sure how the one item got shipped, but I’m sure they overlooked it. I know I’m banned because I also ordered the deal of the day item using my wife’s account and hers wasn’t cancelled. It seems they address-ban because I had placed a 3rd order using Paypal checkout (with a different email address) and that got subsequently cancelled too. I do know of someone else who can’t get Gamestop orders shipped to them too, so it’s not just me.
So what happened? I don’t know. Probably the volume of orders. You’d think a struggling company like Gamestop would be happy with all my purchases. Subsequently I can still earn points and redeem points for in-store purchases so go figure. Guess I’ll just have to order using my wife’s account from now on.
It’s GameStop Vinh, trust me when I say that it’s for the better. GameStop ruined retail video game stores in the U.S.
