I was going strong of not being retailer-banned for quite a while. Mainly because I had stopped reselling their stuff. I did slowly ramp up Target lately and not even a drastic ramp, but they still got me. Every time I try to order, I get this email shortly after I place my order (I get this when I use all GC’s or when the payment is only on my Target debit:
So here’s my order history:
- 12/9 – 8 video games (order cancel)
- 12/9 – 8 video games (order cancel)
- 12/8 – $300 egc promo (last successful order)
- 12/1 – coffee maker item
- 11/30 – some itunes cards on promo
- 11/28 – itunes cards on promo
- 11/27 – 3 kids items
- 10/7 – returned some items worth $93
- 10/4 – bought 2 toys
I haven’t called them to ask why my account is banned (it doesn’t seem like it was due to heavy reselling.) Maybe because of the video game orders…? Now that I think about it, I did combine something like 50 x $2 coke gift cards to my account. So maybe that’s what flagged my account. I’m not sure; I just know this sucks.
I even tried to use my wife’s account (diff address) to buy something on a cc and that order got cancelled too. Heard I have to use a new IP, new info and only pay with GC’s. UGH. Lesson learned – I should have used all those stupid GC’s in store on an item.
