A few weeks ago, Microsoft released an Xbox One controller Fortnite edition that came with a code for extra content for Fortnite. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Fortnite is pretty huge these days in the video game world. The controllers were going for $55 on Amazon and Walmart. Amazon sold out within a day and so Walmart was the last chance. There was a limit of 3; I tried to buy more, but that’s when I realized Walmart may have banned one of my accounts.
The controllers with the code was going for $70 on Ebay. However, if you sold them separately, which is what I told people to do, you could sell the controller for $50 and the code for $40 for a total gross of $90. Factor in shipping, fees, and portal rebate, you’re looking at about a $75 profit for all 3.
