Cancelling those Playstation Classics

Even when Sony first announced these Playstation Classics, the enthusiasm wasn’t nearly as high as the NES or even SNES Classic from a few years ago.  Even my “Gamestop guy” wasn’t excited about it, and you know if your “guy” isn’t excited, it’s most likely going to be a dud.  You need your “guy” to say something like, “Wow, I tried to buy that PS4 Million but they sold out so fast!”  By the way, you should have a “guy” (or “gal”) for EVERYTHING.  I have a Costco “guy” that tells me when they restock Japanese whiskey.  I have a ticket scalping “guy” that gives me tips on hot concerts.  That’s another topic for another day.  Just know, the more “guys” (or “gals”) you know, the more deals you can get in life.

Anyway, I had pre-ordered a handful of these PS Classics.  I was looking at Ebay preorders and they were barely break even after fees and shipping, and even as I write this, they are available on Walmart’s site.  That’s not a good sign.  So to save me the hassle of returning these things, I went ahead and cancelled all of my preorders and so should you.  Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.  If you want to flip a system this XMAS, the NES and SNES Classics are slowly creeping up in value on the bay.
