Victoria’s Secret ‘Secret Rewards’ postcard shenanigan is back

secretrewards

Introduction

Well now that the miles and points community got a taste of these postcard sweepstakes contests with IHG’s ‘Priceless Surprises’ contest, I figure let’s keep it rolling.  This one is for Victoria’s Secret though.  But hold up fellas, before you go clicking away, just know that WAF (“Wife Acceptance Factor”) points are WAY MORE VALUABLE than IHG points.  I mean these points go into the wife bank and only appreciate over time, and the more you put in it, the more it’ll appreciate (unlike gold, bitcoins, miles and points.)

Oh and if you don’t have a wife or girlfriend, you can be like my reader “Mastermind85” who says, “Oh but they do have men’s clothes.   ”  I told him to keep that in his closet!  Kudos goes out to him though for letting me know about the deal; don’t ask me how he found it.  That’s a “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

  1. Thoughts on if we need to have our return address on the left hand corner of the SASE. It doesn’t seem necessary, but the rules seem to say that it does?

    1. If you read the terms, it says you have to HAND-WRITE the SASE and also write a return address, which makes no sense.

  2. I’m still going to do it, but it kind of stinks to have to send an SASE this time, especially since they are going to email the codes. That means we’re buying the $10 certs for a little over $1.

  3. It looks like you can only use one of these cards per purchase, and they cannot be used to buy gift cards… Not sure if it’s that great a deal then unless you win one of the larger value ones.

  4. The official rules on the VS website don’t say anything about a #10 envelope and doesn’t list the date restrictions given above for angel card holders, pink nation and general public. Where did this information come from? Thanks!

  5. How are they going to validate by postmark for mail-ins if 2/7 days of the week the post office is closed?
Interested in these for resale, I haven’t worn VS since I was like 16. WAY nicer stuff out there….

    1. It depends on where you live. In Seattle, the USPS postmarks on Saturday too, so yes, I’d be out 1 of 7 days per week.

  6. lol, I’m interested.. but looks like I’m losing 3 days (today-Mon) due to the weekend and mailing all those IHG cards. That kinda sucks.. but are we only alloted from 13-25th or we can during the full period?

      1. a)during angel period everyday i have to go to post office to send one envelope with above requirement ..is that right till 25th from 19th tomorrow if i start tomorrow …i can send 6 card right?
b)then can i still do in General time period begining 26th to Mar 29th e.g 32 days so i can send 32 envelope.
Sorry basic question .never done this .

        thanks
        Jackie

          1. Thanks,
Quick question for pink nation. you just register online and that will be enough. i mean how they verify i am angle vs pink vs general. i do have angel i got yesterday.
