Today I noticed how crisper the Safeway receipt looked compared to yesterday – almost like they moved to a laser printer over dot matrix. Then when I looked at my VGC receipt, I noticed it no longer prints the serial number of the VGC that I bought. It also grouped the fees into one line item. The immediate repercussion of this is now I have to hold onto the activation receipts whereas before I didn’t need them.
I don’t know why they decided to do this. It just seems like it’s taking a step backwards.
