I swear the Safeway J4U IT team consists of one guy who just doesn’t give a shit about his job. I had written about the ability to clip multiples of the same reward earlier this month. A few days after that post, they removed that ability and you were back to 1 per reward. And then they made the rewards back to being weekly instead of monthly because the ‘clip by date’ changed to 5/16/23 from 5/31/23.
Then on 5/17/23, they put the $ rewards back but they forgot about the free items. Then on 5/18/23, they put the free items back. Then this morning on 5/20/23, I noticed that they added a lot more $ off rewards like the $17 and the $15 that you see above in the screenshot.
I mean wtf is going on there? Like if there was an IT project manager who outsourced this, then it’s 2 sets of eyes to not screw things up this badly. The project manager would have a timeline of updates, not almost daily fixex/changes. So at this point, I think it’s one IT guy who just DGAF cuz he knows his job is gone if the Kroger merger goes through.
