Capital One portal now sends out emails for account suspensions

Got this email on Satuday morning. This was a new account that I fired up in early March to do the ATT deal. Two of the transactions went payable. I redeemed a $100 gift card on Monday and then a $75 gift card on Thursday. I probably had 10 or so pending $75 transactions (some from March 25 that never went payable.) Not quite sure why they shut down this account and not the others. At least they’re sending out these shutdown emails now whereas before, it was a mystery. However, this also means I can’t log back into the account. Luckily, I had printed out all my gift cards and don’t need to log into the accounts anymore. Lesson learned here – print out or save all your Capital One gift card redemptions just in case.
