How we did on those Oculus Quest VR headsets

It seems one of the best flips this Xmas was the Oculus Quest VR headsets. The Oculus Quest has rave reviews online; mostly because you don’t need to connect it to a PC like the older generations. It’s been out for months now, but demand was so high for the past few weeks due to Christmas that there was a shortage of them.

Nearly all vendors were OOS, but Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy randomly “flash” stocked them this past Thursday and Friday. That’s when I notified my Slack folks to get on them ASAP. The units cost $400+tax and this was the going rate then.

One member was able to score 2 and flipped them immediately on Ebay for $665 shipped, for a net profit of about $165 each, so $330 total for the 2. Another member ran to Walmart and found 2 in stock. One member was able to get 4 from Walmart.com. These likely won’t come back in stock until February, so while prices may dip a little after X-mas, it seems demand will keep them profitable for a few weeks. Heck, I’m tempted to keep one even.

Most of my Slack members are fairly new to reselling, but if you’re willing to try it (it’s not that hard,) you can easily make some nice side money like my folks did on this deal. Join my private Slack group to learn of these opportunities.
