Now that the Jetblue Amazon portal has practically died (unless you’re flying Jetblue,) looks like the deal has been outed on Reddit (click through to read it). It seems the OP has known about it for a year; I’ve only known about a variation of it since the beginning of the year. You see, when the portal was paying out for Amazon GC, ppl were essentially getting free Jetblue points by buying Amazon GC using Amazon GC. However, Amazon put and end to that back in April 2017. Well it seems the unicorn hunters tried other items that could easily convert to Amazon GC, thus giving them “unlimited” Jetblue points for what seems like an entire year. UNREAL. Lesson learned – when one door closes, try another door instead of just calling it quits.
I’m not sure if I can post a link in a comment here, so search “Brothers Scam $650,000 in Cashback From FatWallet” in Google, this JetBlue scheme seems similar to that story.
