US Mint releasing Liberty Bell coins on 7/16/26

I’m giving you guys a week’s notice for the Super Bowl of MINT drops coming on 7/16 so you can get your friends and family in on this.

MINT landing page here – https://www.usmint.gov/coins/coin-programs/semiquincentennial/shop-gold+silver_proof_philadelphia/

I’m not going to do an RSVP or lock in just because I expect the hit rate to be 5% so it’d be a waste of time. My buyers are aware of this and they will assess the market and pay you market price after the drop. So come back after the drop for prices; I WOULDN’T LOCK IN WITH ANYONE. There’s only 2K of each coin dropping and the silver will sell out the fastest (prob in 2 minutes) since it’s the cheapest. The $20K gold coin will last a bit longer; maybe 5 minutes at best. At this point, you just need to pray to the queue gods to give you a good queue number, so that’s why you need to get your f&f’s help.

If you somehow get in early, I mean, buy all 3, BUT:

  • Silver – buyers will buy all 2026 if they could. My guess is payout will be AT LEAST $500 looking at Ebay prices now.
  • 1/2 oz Gold – buyers will only want a small allocation. So if you get this and there are too many sellers, then you’ll have to figure out what to do with it yourself.
  • 1 oz Gold – like the 1/2 oz above, buyers will want an even smaller allocation. My guess is payout will be ~$1K? So this is the high risk, high reward, high cc spend, bonus. But it’s not a guaranteed sale.

I’ll let you pick your own adventure.

If you bought a gold, then I suggest you cancel. Too many ppl bought like I expected

Buyer are paying:

  • Silver – TBD (come back on drop day)
  • 1/2 oz Gold – TBD (come back on drop day)
  • 1 oz Gold – TBD (come back on drop day)

  1. Wow…That was Fun!

Was able to score various 1/2oz and 1oz Gold coins.
Too Bad Vinh’s pulling chocks on Gold coin purchases.

Got another buyer offering $1k on 1/2 oz and $1.5k on 1oz.

      1. Well, so much for them…
I had three buyers sending out e-mails this morning saying they were buying all variations.

After I secured my purchases, I e-mailed them all indicating what I had and all came back, indicating that they were only interested in Silver…

Pretty shitty but oh well, that’s the game.

Can’t believe that out of 2,026 of the one oz and 2,026 1/2 oz, I was able to secure three of them and NO BUYERS are interested. Maybe the premium the Mint was asking…was even too much for those wanting the Gold Bells.

Now I sit…waiting a bit, just in case someone wants a Gold, otherwise, I’ll be cancelling and sending them back into the Mint’s inventory to come avail. everyday at 7:30 am (EDT).

What’s ironic though, is all the Gold Buyers who turned me down…are really, really, wanting a Silver Bell. They have some BALLS (or should I say Bells – LOL) to say two hours before show time they’re all buying Gold Bell coins and then 10 mins after showtime, they’re all pulling back and not buying Gold.

  2. I also bought one of the 1/2 oz gold coins. I saw that you suggested to cancel. Does this apply to everyone? Or is there a first come first serve for those that emailed you?

    1. Same – waiting to see if I get a response.. plenty of BE places to resell otherwise sadly not a ton of upside other htan CC points on that one 🙁

    1. I think he’s only expecting 5% of people interested in being fast/lucky enough to buy one before they sell out.
