I don’t know when BOA added this, but I went to Zelle someone the other day from my BOA account and saw the screenshot below. The first option if Zelle but the 2nd option seems to be a BOA act-to-act transfer. I asked the person for their BOA name and account number. After that, I sent them $9000 and it went through just fine. Usually a Zelle transfer from BOA will limit you to just $2,000, especially for a new person. I’m shocked that the bank who you can’t easily set up an autopay on a biz act added such a useful feature that almost every bank should have.

Not new. Have been doing this that way since 2009. Predates Zelle.
I usually see account abbreviated as “acct”
