Last week, I wrote about the Cap1 Tmo internet deal. Then a few days ago, the deal got juicier when Cap1 sent me a $600 offer.

I was all ready to bite on it but then I got this one yesterday

I had already bitten on the $400 offer on my main Tmobile account, but I realized why not scale this up? So fire up a new Capital one account, browse to the Tmo 5G Home Internet, add to cart, close and wait for the email. Hopefully you get $660. Then you’ll want to open up a new Tmobile HOME INTERNET ONLY ACCOUNT. The reason for this is because the $300 Tmobile rebate is 1 per account.
Now the math on this is REALLY GOOD. You’ll get $660 plus the Tmobile $300 rebate. The first month is free. You’ll have to pay around 2 months of $70 (not $55 since you don’t have a voice line.) So you should make about $960-$140 = $820 if all things go smoothly. I hear the Tmobile $300 rebate is flaky, so make sure you hound them at 90 days. Worst case you pay another $70 month. You’ll most likely get the Capital 1 payout before the Tmo rebate, so as soon as you get the rebate, call them up to cancel and return the equipment. Make sure you’ve cashed out both before cancelling just in case.

I did P1 & P2 and got ( both cap1 and vgc ) already. Any DP on how to do it again, as I see Cap1 resending 400 deal.
You can prob get Cap1 again, but I’d wait for a juicier offer. You prob can’t get the VGC again. Also, i’m shocked you got the VGC whereas most were denied
Does anyone know if I can you use my same cap1 account that has got the offer before but under a different T-Mobile account . Can I use the same cap1 account and different T-Mobile account to get the offer again
Anyomne know what plans are included in this deal? I don’t see anything specifying which ones. I finally got some available plans but not the “home” unlimited plans available. Up till today it was “notavailable in my area”. I now get a $440 offer from CAP1 virtually every day.
$20/mo backup plan
$60/mo “lite” plan (100Gigs)
$110/mo “away” plan 200gig and $160mo unlimited (for travel)
I THINK any plan works? It’s the tmobile rebate that requires a certain plan, but you’re in unchartered territory.
Hi Vinh,
Thanks for your great post. I have only received the $440 offer by email so far. Last year, I received a $150 MC gift card from Home Internet. Am I better off creating a new account to get the deal, or can I use my existing account?
How many can you run at one residential address?
how long to get the email?
1-2 days
Looks like my sister’s address qualifies (tried mine, no go), when you say leave the device there that means she would have to set it up/activate it right? Do you think it would work to activate and then unplug everything and put her setup back as usual?
Yeah you’d have to leave the device there. I have 2 of them running at my house, so there’s no need to ‘unplug and put her setup back.’ you’ll just need to taket it down when you deactivate it in 90 days.
they know if its plugged in?
Yes because you need the phone number that is listed on the unit to get your rebate
but once i got the number i can unplug it?
LOL, I got this offer (never got the original one) but T-Mo says: “Unfortunately, 5G Home Internet Unlimited and Fiber Home Internet are not yet available at your address.” Strange because I have T-Mo service here and it’s superb.
Weird. My signal is always low to mid and qualified for their fast tier. Try a different address but know you’ll have to leave the device there.
It seems they only allocate a limited number of slots on each tower for home internet due to the different data usage vs. cellular so as not to degrade the cell services or internet services. They said my tower is “full”. I get consisten 6-700Mbps download speed on my phone so it’s not a location issue but just a capacity issue.
