The US Mint has seemed to ban me

It’s gotta be a new low when the US Mint seems to have banned you, right? I mean can a government agency ban you? Oh wait don’t answer that. So what happened? On Monday morning, I got 3 cancel emails – the army coin, the Superman coins and even the Sacagawea coins. Why do I think they banned me? Well, cuz I was playing with my home address in the past to scale up multiple orders. It’s worked in the past, but I think the Mint has gotten more strict lately, so instead of just cancelling/banning your secondary accounts, they’ve now banned/cancelled my main account.

It’s definitely NOT due to linking accounts due to IP since my PO Box still works (sorta) and my wife’s PO Box is fully in tact. The army coin I had ordered to my mom (using the same IP) also got delivered. So they aren’t linking accounts due to IP address or all of my accounts would be dead now. I think they got mad with all of my jigged home addresses and now have blocked my real address/main account.

Lesson learned – Don’t jig your home address or risk getting address banned.

  1. Can you write a article on list of banks / entity u got banned and whether u were able to make a come back to it ? Timeline?

Im banned with Citi and Cap one . My spouse Chase and Cap one. Applying regularly every year in Jan to get back into those. But either outright rejections or approved and getting the account closed in a week or a month.

  2. I’ve definitely never jigged any of my accounts. didn’t even know that was a thing till you posted about it. still got canceled.

      1. the only thing that was the same was my name and phone number. different addresses with different credit cards with different email address accounts.

  3. they may be banning based on IP, as i have no other explanation.

i created a brand new acct using fresh name, billing & shipping address, email and credit card number —- and yet got cancelled.
