I’ve had my Comenity card now for almost a year and no matter what I do, the card’s credit limit takes so long to clear after a payment. For instance, I had made a payment on 9/19 (the day the payment posted,) and the credit line didn’t clear until 9/28, so almost a full 10 calendar days. This might be a good thing because you can’t cycle the shit out of it. And the CL increases they give you is paltry too. I think I started with 3.5K now and now I’m up to 5.8K. I’ll just need to get the wife her own card to really scale things up.
is this slow release credit reflected in the available credit shown in online banking? After payment, I see my available credit increased instantly. but if I make a new transaction, it will be declined. I called in, csr said although it shows credit available online, in fact it is not. so I can not be 100% sure when the credit is really available.
Oh I was having that same issue too but I think it eventually resolved itself. Now it no longer refelects phantom available creedit
