A month ago, one of my paid Slack folks posted a deal where you would get 1 share of DXYZ stock if you referred 3 people. A bunch of people used his referral link and we did a conga on it. I tried to sign up but for some reason, when I went to verify my phone number, it linked my info to my mom’s and I couldn’t overwrite the info. Plus, the web site looked like a crypto NFT scam so I bailed on the signup thinking it wasn’t worth my time for $10-$20 to fix it.
Fast forward a month, apparently they had a “leaderboard” and I’m guessing not many people signed up because the OP actually received 100 shares instead of 1. I think a handful of other people got 100 shares too. I’m assuming they probably only referred like 3-5 people; I don’t really know. Either way, the shares were deliverd today so $24 * 100 = a $2,400 comeup. CRAZY!
Please do NOT sign up for my Slack thinking opportunities like this pop up often. This was a RARE event and I don’t even think many people jumped on the opportunity because it did require effort to refer 3 people.
I referred 4 people and got 100 shares. I thought it was a mistake but the shares showed up and I cashed out no issues.
Received my 100 shares yesterday and sold at $24. Stock is at $39 today…
