Wife got another AMEX Clawback email yesterday. Not sure why they are doing these in batches but that seems to be the case. I chatted with AMEX and they said she lost 60K pts due to $15K of gift card spend. The chat rep first told me it was on my Schwab Platinum card, but that makes no sense since I wouldn’t put that spend on a Platinum card. Turns out it was on a vanilla Platinum card that was downgraded to Gold.
I’m too lazy to look at what other AMEX cards I’ve MS’ed on, so I’ll just wait for their emails.
Still seems like they are only going back through June though, which is good. Hope they stay there.
Yeah, no DP’s from April or anything; maybe late May that was caught with the June statements.
