How to get ‘unlimited’ Staples $15 off $60 online coupons

This has been working now for over a year I think, but I never got around to blogging about it. I tried it again last night and it worked, so here’s the trick:

1. Open Staples.com on an incognito window
2. Wait for the popup that asks for an email and a phone number. Email can be whatever, but you’ll need a working phone number.
3. Reply to the text with a ‘Y’
4. Wait for coupon code link. You can use the coupon code on any Staples account.

No idea if this works with Google Voice or Textnow numbers. If you re-use an old phone number, the coupon code will be the same, and Staples seems to have a loooong memory. You can stop texts after you get the coupon code. All of this takes about a minute. To scale, you’ll need more phone numbers.
