It has always been store policy on whether your local Safeway would take VGC for money orders. Well that’s about to end since corporate sent out a memo saying Western Union is implementing a change on May 1, 2023. Read the memo below:

Will this apply at all grocery stores issuing WU money orders?
Wonder when Meijer stores will have to follow this policy? Since it seems to be headed up by WU instead of the store.
