I had written a few months ago how Alliant stopped paying cashback for Google Pay. Well it turns out that around 10/29/2019, Google Pay no longer even sees the card as being a valid debit card. It wasn’t much of an MS play once you stopped earning cashback; it was just useful if you wanted to move money around and float it on your cc for a month or so.
