- Infiniti mailed me a letter saying I owed them $440. I brought it to the dealership, saw the closer, and said, “WTF MAN!?!” He photocopied it and said he’d take care of it. The funny thing is that I wasn’t even surprised when I got the letter. By the way, they did waive about $300 in damages from my wife running the rims up against curbs, but I think they waived it since I stayed in the Nissan/Infiniti family. I bet if I just turned it in straight up, they would have made me pay for that ‘excessive wear and tear.’
- Did my Lasik 1-month followup. Now I’m 20/15 vision. Halos have mostly stopped. Should have done it sooner.

I’ve contemplated going on a Milenomics / Bighabitat hiatus recently. I spend more time writing on this site than I do finding things to resell, which has a much, much, much higher ROI. New Premium Seating Alert service
So I’m introducing a new service to the site.
Premium Seating Alerts – $20
Let’s say you’ve booked an award seat in coach already but want to know when a business or first class seat opens. Or maybe you’re waiting for a business or first seat to open before booking your award flight. In both cases, you’re too lazy to check every day or whatnot. I can watch it for you. If I find it and you book the seat, you pay me $20 per trip (roundtrip or one-way). If the seats don’t open up, you lose nothing. WIN-WIN! For the award booking service, do you search by route (SFO->NRT->HKG) or starting/ending city pair (SFO->…->HKG) for a specific day? Are you also doing this manually?
