This is the monthly post on how many points I collected in the previous month. This is NOT a brag and moan post. This was the impetus of this entire blog; so I could track how many miles and points I earn in a year. Some of you may do a lot less than this; some may do a lot more. Do what you feel is comfortable. Don’t overextend yourself just so you get similar numbers or whatnot.
Recap
So after April’s big haul, May was a “down” month. That was mostly due to me being shut down by Kohl’s and Bloomingdale’s and falling into a lull (which I’ve gotten out now.) I didn’t even buy any Staples VGCs in May! I also didn’t fully use up the $50K annual Ink benefit! That’s how bad May was. I did get ~15K miles from shopping portals before they banned me, but that’s really a drop in the hat. All the cashback was for Buxx (both flavors) and loading of Serve/Redbird. Nothing too fancy here guys.
June will also be another low month since I’ll be traveling. However, I expect to come back strong in July since now I’m PISSED I dropped the ball in May and June.
Remember cashback numbers are also gross, not net. I’ve also updated the year to date view.
