AMEX $20K Update
On the last update, I had sold $5K worth of stuff. Now I’m up to $6.5K. I still have a lot of items on”Reserved” and “Inbound.” I think I should have sold $10K by end of next week. However, now that my main source has banned me, I’ll have to come up with something else to resell.
Bloomingdale’s/Macy’s Update
If you bought gift cards to these 2 stores lately, you may want to ask for a refund. I hear they are rejecting orders using gift cards, and you have to call in and they are asking for the source of the cards. You can’t even check the GC balance online anymore.
USBuxx scare
I had a PFRAUD on one of my USBank Buxx cards earlier this week. This was a new teen and I had swiped all $2,000 in one shot at a Kroger store. I called them up, and they said it was due to the large transaction. This was very scary because the last time I had a PFRAUD, my USBuxx account was shut down due to ‘loading and unloading too fast.’ So be warned – if you add a new teen, you may want to take it slow.
Upcoming AOR
I realized my last round of credit card applications was on 3/3. I also haven’t gotten my wife a round in way too long (due to a house refi.) I’ll definitely sign up for the Chase United 50K offer and the Citi AT&T More card (trust me, you should get this card too.) I really don’t know what else to sign up for to be honest. Maybe more Alaska Visa cards…
Is the City AT&T really worth it if you have no intention of ever being an AT&T customer? I guess the 3x on online purchases is good though.
I’m sure you have friends or family that have an ATT plan; just have them add you for a month and then drop you. I’m mainly doing it for the 3X than the free phone.
