Saks filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on January 14, 2026. We can still use your AMEX Plat credits as well as gift cards FOR NOW, so I suggest you use it up ASAP. One thing that I need to add is that you should not buy any items that are “Shipped by vendor” because most likely the vendor isn’t going to ship out the item because they are probably worried they won’t get paid. I had an order back on 12/25 that I didn’t realize was a dropship until Saks eventually cancelled the order weeks later, thus missing out on the $50 credit for 2025. I also had placed an order on 1/2/26 that is still ‘in progress’ because it’s also a dropship. I bought a Moncler jacket on 1/23 that hasn’t shipped yet (dropship), but a Canada Goose jacket on 1/26 has already shipped (Saks inventory.)
Unfortunately you can’t tell if an item is a dropship on the item page, but you can tell in your cart.
