Last Friday on 10/10, I woke up to dozens of Paypal emails saying my account features are paused. You see, last year when you could do PPBP to BoA, all you had to do was create a new account with a random name, address and phone number and was able to fire off a payment to BoA. There were velocity limits (something like $10K a week that you wanted to stay under,) so it made sense to start a Paypal army. Looking back, it’s just wild to think that Paypal would let you send like $10K w/o a KYC. I think that was when their stock was riding high. Once they missed earnings/profits, that’s when they basically killed PPBP and now this.
Sounds like you tried to play fast and loose with the rules, and got caught.

I am guessing they never connected your spurious accounts to your main one(s) via IP, or you would have mentioned that those were also banned.

Right. Paypal doesn’t seem to link accounts via IP these days.
