I’m sure you guys saw this one coming. This happened after the switch from UPS to Fedex. Fedex was supposed to delivery my package, but they didn’t even attempt a delivery and went immediately to return to sender. This of course put eyes on my account. After that happened, all of my orders were getting cancelled. Eventually a rep said it was because I had too many returns from my address. This wasn’t true except for the one RTS due to Fedex’s fault. Anyway, I filed a BBB against Costco basically saying I can’t place online orders. Within a couple of days, they responded back to the complaint saying they resolved the issue and the address block was removed.
I was then able to place a few more orders but then things started to get cancelled again. In the meantime, I got a letter in the mail saying some of my household members had their memberships cancelled since they already had a membership, meaning my wife has her own membership, but I also had her as a household member. I’m guessing this is when the second ban happened.
I then re-opened the BBB complaint saying I was back to having problems placing online orders. After a few days, they replied back saying they’ve removed the restrictions and that I could shop again. Haha so straight to the point. There was no email or phone call telling me WHY I was blocked in the first place. Anyway, I’m back in business but for who knows how long. So if Costco cancels all your online orders, give BBB a shot.
