I have a very strong love/hate relationship with this portal. I feel like I’m almost an expert on the portal by now. Anyway, if you ever have the issue where let’s say you have $1,000 of available rewards and you redeem it for a $100 gift card. Then after the popup, your rewards balance goes back to $1000 and you have no $100 gift card. If you email support and ask, ‘wtf is up?,’ they will email you the following message below. There’s only one way to avoid this issue and time is your friend.

- A user used Capital One Shopping in a manner consistent with the reselling of goods or services
- A user attempted to redeem Shopping Rewards for which they were not eligible
- A user engaged in other impermissible activity outlined in our terms of service
Additional information on our policies and practices can be found in our Terms of Service.

Cryptic. “Only one way to avoid this issue. TIme is your friend.”
That’s it? Not exactly circles and arrows here.
So don’t do what they say is bad and your hint is if you do, don’t do a lot in a short time so they might not notice.
Time is your friend translates to spread out the Portal transactions and don’t buy in high quantities of items, I suppose. I guess you can’t be specific on this site.
