Tiss the season for Paypal shutdowns. Ever since a certain bank stopped taking debit payments, people have moved to Paypal to make those payments. With the uptick in payments, Paypal just didn’t like that. They took down P2’s decade old account and my mom’s account too (2-3 years old.) Both were doing payments just fine before the uptick. The lesson learned – don’t get too attached to Paypal accounts. They’ve made it surprisingly easy to spin up new ones these days.
