Synchrony shut down me and the wife back in 2022 due to the Venmo days. I applied for P2 for their Mastercard and got this as a rejection reason. Not sure what they mean by “High risk source of application.” Like is she high risk? Is she banned for life? The “of application” just sounds odd.
Anyway, if you were banned by Synchrony and were let back in or not, lmk.
You can get back in to Synchrony. E.g., Venmo shutdown is not a problem when applying for Amazon store card
