Yesterday I wrote about weird Synchrony rejection letter. Some people were thinking it was due to the source of the links. But here’s the thing – the link I used was from a targeted mailer that Synchrony sent me. Yea apparently I had attempted to apply for both the Synchrony and a Comenity card a few weeks ago for P2 and I bailed on the application (after the name and address part.) And then a few weeks/month later, I got a targeted mailer. I think I’ll try this again since I tossed out the mailer. Or maybe I’ll call in to apply for the card instead of using an online link for Synchrony next time. So much effort for a stupid 2% card that will probably shut me down in a few months…
