I’m not being paid or sponsored for this post. Just sharing what I believe to be the best all around tshirt – the Vuori Strato Tech tee.
- It’s super soft and you can sleep it in like a pamaja tee (more comfy than any tshirt I own)
- It has enough structure in it for you to run errands w/o it looking like a pajama tee
- It’s a great workout tee – I work out in it and launder and dry it just fine (you’re not supposed to dry Lululemon.) It’s somewhat flattering but not too flattering (aka super short in the arms for your biceps.) It’s also not abrasive at all like some workout “tech” tees.
I have the shirts in like 7 different colors. I also have a few of the long sleeve version and they’re just as nice as the short sleeved version. Others I’ve tried:
- Vuori Ponto Performance tee felt it was wasn’t as soft and it was too “techy” feel.
- I’ve tried the Rhone Reign tee – too “techy” and not as comfy to sleep in.
- Lululemon Metal Vent Tech tee – great for workouts but not as comfy to sleep in
If you know of any tshirts that are better than the Vuori strato tech tee in all 3 categories, let me know.
Were you able to remove the sewn in tags inside the Vuori strato tech tee?
They haven’t bothered me enough to try
I love Uniqlo’s AIRIsm t-shirt. Admittedly, it is fast fashion, but I’ve had mine for over 2 years, and they still look and feel great.

This looks thicker than the Vuori; can’t see them being softer. I’ll check them out when I go to a Uniqlo store though.
For about 1/4 of the price the CloudMotion tshirts from Old Navy are pretty alright

The cut might not be as flattering but super comfortable & don’t look like pajamas. Slept in one on an overnight flight no problem.
96% Polyester? That’s gunna be a no for me dawg
Icebreaker merino t shirts are far superior to what’s mentioned here IMO. Made of wool, wash in a sink, comfortable and soft. Good for sleeping, lounging, working out and walking around. Far better than the polyester stuff that passes as clothing material nowadays.
Lost me at “wash in a sink”
