Look I don’t like writing about these guys. I want to move on with my life, but these clowns keep doing stupid ass shit. Anyway, they had closed my wife’s account at the end of July, but then all of a sudden, in early August, they charged her the $60 annual fee. I looked back and noticed that they never charged her this in the first place; they seem to charge it at first statement close. Now some of you may think it’s fair that they charge me since I did use the card and earned rewards for a few weeks, and if they had PRORATED the annual fee to like $5, I would have gladly paid it. However, to charge me the full annual fee ON A CLOSED CARD, is the most ridiculous thing ever.
I had my wife call in a few days ago (lost some wife points on it,) and the rep had to escalate the matter and today we saw the $60 credit. Hopefully we’re done with these clowns.

I wanted to ask like do you have any tips for next year when Paceline renews and is about to charge me Annual Fee, you think I can ask them to change into another card or should I just cancel it? I got mostly for free Apple 7 watch (after weekly exercise streaks)

That is insane. I was going to recommend to file a complaint but glad they resolved it. Will stay away from them now.
