Well this is a new low for me. I’m not going to say WHY they banned my account; just know I got eyes on my account and they pulled the t&c out on me about not being able to have multiple accounts to take advantage of promos. The lady on the phone said my accounts would be banned. This scared me because I have A LOT of accounts and they get good promos weekly on them.
It was later that night that I got emails saying my phone number had changed on some accounts. I then logged into the affected accounts and noticed all they did was delete the phone numbers. I’m sure the IT guy was like, “You want me to do what? That’s not going to do anything.” Because sure enough, I was able to add my phone number right back in my account. The odd thing is what I had clipped $40 of rewards on my account and I couldn’t use them. However, I was able to add a new coupon this week and it redeemed fine. So it seems like no harm no foul.
Lesson learned – don’t get eyes on your account.
How long did this work for you? Are you still doing it? Currently making multiple accounts to benefit from the SAVE 30 of 75 promo over and over again.
Just happened to a few of my accounts out of the blue. Nothing I know got eyes on them. When resetting the number, I had to pick new phone numbers though. Whenever I try to update any of them to the previous numbers it errors out.

How did they know which accts were yours & how many you had? Time to burn anything you can get out of the those & start again.
How do you manage a lot of Safeway accounts? I have 6 Safeway accounts, and even just with that amount it’s a huge pain to log in and out of each account every week to clip the offers. This is an issue regardless of if I use the app or the site – either requires an excessive number of taps/clicks because of their shitty app and website designs.
