A few weeks ago, someone told me that their Gamestop points couldn’t be redeemed in store and wanted to see if my account was fine. At the time, I had about 470K points and was able to redeem $100 worth of certificates, leaving me with 370K. I then went into a Gamestop store last week and the manager, who knows me quite well, had issues pulling up my account. Eventually he found it and it only had 20K points in it. I thought that was odd, so I pulled out my phone and I could see my 370K points, but I couldn’t clip any rewards and the $100 of certs weren’t there either.
I then mentioned to him how someone I know had their account wiped and he then muttered that loss prevention had said something about it. My guess is they wiped out the heavy hitter accounts on April 1. There goes about $470 worth of points.
Me, too. My (multiple) accounts were shutdown by “A Fulton” (Loss Prevention, Gamestop). I googled him, full name adam fulton.
I bought more than $50k+ GC from Gamestop, and they still think I am profiting from “Gamestop rewards”. No wonder they are losing business!
So, you have no recourse?
