I’ve been away from the Kohl’s game for a while, but have dabbled back recently since they have been stocking Nintendo Switches and even PlayStation 5s. Anyhow I had gotten some Kohl’s Cash recently that were available on 11/28. I went to try to use it in store on 12/1 and the register said it had already been used. I eventually called Kohl’s who told me the KC was used at a store in Ohio. The overseas rep was no help and she even hung up on me (or got disconnected.)
I had heard this happened to a couple of other folks too so this is a widespread issue. They didn’t hack my account because I don’t even have an account associated with that email. They just hacked the backend codes.
Apparently the fix is you have to call and get a US based rep who will then escalate the issue and eventually you get the KC back. Very annoying and a lot of wasted time. Fix your shit Kohl’s!
Just happened to me $45! They used it in 2 Florida locations and I am 1500 miles from there! These clever thief’s should get jobs there are plenty out there and stop stealing from hard working people!
I am laughing to myself imagining how much Kohl’s cash you must’ve had…
LOL well I HAD about $10K worth but they took almost all of it away.
