How we did on those Pearl Jam tickets

Pearl Jam is going on tour this year and did a Verified Fan last week. Furthermore, to fight off scalpers, they are implementing Ticketmaster’s ‘Safetix,’ which is their rotating QR ticket. That means you can’t have hard tickets or take screenshots of tickets, and the only way to sell the tickets would mean transferring the tickets. However, Pearl Jam is blocking the ability to transfer any tickets at all, and the only way to sell their tickets seems to be a new fan-to-fan exchange system that I presume will be a way to buy and sell at face value. We’ve never seen this system yet so it’ll be interesting when it launches.

The only venues you could scalp were New York and apparently Colorado due to state laws. Because of that, all the scalpers were vying for those 2 cities. Verified Fan chances were very low; I’d say less than 5% of people hit. A few of my Slack folks hit on New York. One person was able to buy 4 tix and made about $1200 profit. WOW. I haven’t seen those kind of numbers since the Metallica Chase Center tickets. Funny thing is the market has risen since he’s sold. Man, just look at these prices.

Join my private Slack group to learn of these opportunities. You may not be lucky and hit on the tickets, but at least you’ll know about them ahead of time.
