How I did on the Tool Brooklyn poster resale

After all the shit that Tool fans gave me for reselling their stupid CD last month, there was another opportunity to make money off of their fans. Apparently at every(?) Tool concert, they release a special poster that coincides with the concert. Well it turns out the Brooklyn poster wasn’t ready by the time of the show. Thus, the poster was released online this past Saturday, on Shopify no less, which is bot heaven.

The site had payment issues and orders weren’t finally working until something like 10 minutes past the hour. The poster retailed for $60 and there was a $10 shipping fee or so. It sold out within a minute once it went live. Immediately it went on Ebay for this much:

While I’m no Tool fan, the poster looks very cool. I could see prices rising over time. There were 19K people at the concert and only 750 posters. I alerted my Slack group and a few people were able to buy, thus easily recouping their $30/month cost. Want to learn more about these opps? Join my private Slack group.
