My Moen shower head hose sorta came off about a year ago or so. I had been lazy to replace it, so every month or so, I’d push it together. I didn’t want to replace it just because of a cosmetic issue. However, a few weeks ago, the shower head was spraying very weak water. I probably could have opened it up and checked if there was dirt or something blocking the pathway, but the shower head was 4+ years old and it was old and gunky. I figured it was best to just replace the whole thing. Thus, I went onto Amazon and found what I thought was a replacement head for about ~$75. I was reading the reviews and one of the top 5 reviews mentioned about a warranty and replacement. Thus, I went onto Moen’s site and sure enough, there was a lifetime warranty on it. I called them up, and after a 5 minute phone call that involved me taking a picture of my current shower head and emailing it to the rep (so they know which model) WHILE STILL BEING ON THE PHONE WITH THEM, the nice lady ordered a replacement newer model shower head and hose. Sweet! Saved me ~$75. Usually, I don’t believe in those lifetime warranties because you have to register your device or some weird BS, but this one came through.
I actually do this a lot and pretty much every company has been awesome so far. most recent claim was for Tribest juicer for parents. The filter broke after a year or so. Emailed Tribest last week and they sent a new filter immediately.
Nice to know that. I am impressed. I will buy moen next time.
