I actually don’t know if this still works anymore, but it SHOULD WORK since I don’t think anything has changed since last October. Anyway, let’s say you were to open a business account with the largest online payment provider and during the process, it asks you what category of business you were in and you picked a certain category. Then you had someone pay you using their Ink card. Then this may just happen:
A few notes:
- Don’t be fooled why it’s not .6cpp (remember, Paypal’s fee is 2.9% + $.30)
- Shutdown risk [on both Chase and PP]
- Remember the 20K/200 rule
IF the deal is dead now, then take this post as a DEAL DEAD lesson learned post.
What’s the 20K/200 rule?
Google it, but if u get sent more than 200 xactions AND 20K, you get a 1099.
Tasty morsel. Bless you Vinh
I found this by mistake. A very good friend of mine does Computer/networking and IT support. One day I asked him to help us in the office with something and I asked him if I could pay him with my company’s CC. He said he will open an account and let me know. Well I paid him and I earned 5x points LOL. after that I “hired him” for everything!!
One of my contractors that I pay $x,xxx to every month via PayPal just so happened to pick one of the categories that maps to 5X – big win for me on my Chase Ink Plus.
