Introduction
I think about alarm clocks as much as the next guy, which is most likely never except the 2 times a year when I have to reset daylight savings time. My first alarm clock I had from childhood through college. My second alarm clock I got from an Office Depot sale ($30 I think ) that has lasted up until last week. I loved that 2nd alarm clock because 1) it automatically sets the time once you plug it in, 2) it automatically reset daylight savings, 3) it had 2 alarms, 4) it let me change the alarm to only go off M-F or all 7 days a week or just weekends. I mean, what more could you want right? The only downside of the clock was that it was programmed for the old daylight savings dates, thus I’d have to manually change the time 4 times a year versus zero. That’s how old this alarm clock is!
My 3rd alarm clock
I’m not even sure how I got to browsing alarm clocks on Amazon, but I did and I found this Electrohome alarm clock. It had all the features I wanted – auto time set, 2 alarms, and the M-F alarm. I think the temperature is a nice to have, but I haven’t even paid attention to it. The one cool thing I had read on the reviews was the time projection on the wall. I thought this was absurd! I’ve just been rolling over when I wanted to know the time. How can one be any lazier when they are already IN BED?
It’s been a week now and I have to admit, that projection time feature is actually pretty useful. Now my wife can see the time as well. And it’s not that bright where it annoys you. So far so good. By the way, I bought a ‘very good’ version from Amazon Warehouse. I figure it’s an alarm clock; if it has a few scratches, who cares. As long as the thing functions!
Oh I also chose NOT to get any USB charging alarm clocks. I just wanted simple and cheap.
Hey man was jw how strong is the stuff you smoke 😉
