Introduction
I had written about Microsoft Earn a couple of times already. I had generated a couple of hundred dollars of rewards and wasn’t exactly sure how to redeem them. Then one day, I saw a deal on an Xbox One on Slickdeals via the Microsoft Store and decided to try to use up my credits.
Placing order on Microsoft Store
I had actually signed into a different email address than my Msft Earn email address by accident when placing the order, but it didn’t matter. I still got the credit. The only thing you need to do to earn the credit is to use a credit card that is already associated on your Earn account.
Automatic credit on your Earn account
After a few days, I noticed the credit was debited from my Earn account:

And here’s the credit refund on my ATT card.
Conclusion
Glad to see Microsoft made redemptions pretty straight forward with the program. I don’t use the program very often these days (especially in regards to buying gift cards,) but the 3% back at Shell + credit card points is pretty generous. You’ll have to resell (or buy and use Microsoft products) to “cash out,” but it’s pretty painless.
