Disclaimer
This is the monthly quarterly post on how many points I collected in the previous quarter. This is NOT a brag and moan post. This was the impetus of this entire blog; so I could track how many miles and points I earn in a year. Some of you may do a lot less than this; some may do a lot more. Do what you feel is comfortable. Don’t overextend yourself just so you get similar numbers or whatnot.
Remember cashback numbers are also gross, not net. I’ve also updated the year to date view.
Recap
I’ve mostly stopped reselling since the start of 2016. Not sure why. Maybe I just stopped spending time researching things to source. Plus I wanted to move into private labeling instead since that’s more sustainable. Lately, I’ve gotten back into MS as well as another MS-play, which I won’t publicly write about. And as you can see below, I banked quite a few UR points this quarter (I won’t go into those details either.) I have started to track the cost per point (e.g. purchase fees) as well as liquidation cost, but I’m unsure whether to share them or not.

What a teaser: “…another MS-play which I won’t publicly write about” …any chance to learn of it privately? ( in4tar@gmail.com)
I’ve given hints to people who have emailed me.
Nice UR haul…do you have multiple Inks? Also what do you put your grocery spend on since I saw you had 0 MR I was a little surprised…Hilton I would guess?
I actually didn’t too much grocery in Q1. I’ll be doing a LOT in Q2 though.
Hi Vinh, about how much did it roughly cost you to generate 1 UR point?
<= .3c
Thanks
You spent $281,591 on your Chase UR cards in the 1st quarter? No bonus points?
oh no, those were from a category that you already know.
Wow, very impressed with the UR haul!
Thanks. That’ll be enough UR for a while, so I’ll just switch back to cashback in Q2.
