Well it seems that I’ve hit that point on my free MailChimp subscription service where it’s no longer free. The one thing I didn’t like Mailchimp was 1) I couldn’t find a way to easily change the subject header besides saying “Today’s posts from Miles per Day” and b) my emails were formatted very oddly. I then tried to switch to the default WordPress email subscription, but it appears when you try to reply to one of the emails, it goes to donotreply@milesperday which means it went into a black hole. It seems most of you contact me by just replying to those email blasts, so that isn’t very reader-friendly. I finally settled onto Google’s Feedburner, which is the best of both worlds – 1) nicely formatted emails, 2) can have a nice subject header, 3) you can reply to the email, and 4) it’s free. So for all you new bloggers out there, I advise you to use Feedburner over the rest.
