February was similar to January where most of my manufactured spend was on my Wells Fargo 5% card since it was my last month with 5%. I did lose a USBuxx account because I stupidly changed the PIN number on a replacement card; that will set me back ~$10,000 of Arrival loads every month going forward. What a shame. The airline points were off of shopping portals. The Chase bank points were due to Staples VGC purchases. Arrival points came mostly from Buxx loads.
Going forward into March, I’m going to switch from WF 5% to utilizing more Amex gift cards. The gross will be around 4-5%, depending on which portal and card I use to buy the AGC with, but at least I’ll stop stressing about fraud alerts at the register. This also doesn’t include any credit card bonuses. I’ll probably put that into its own section later. I also want to factor in liquidation costs going forward – while I gross 5% on the WF 5% card, after VGC fees, I’m only netting 3.8%
