I used to play video games a lot when I was younger, but now I’m old and spend more time trying to find deals and miles than playing video games. So it should come to no surprise to you that I had no idea what an ‘amiibo’ is. I still don’t know what it is as I am typing this. However, I know it’s super popular right now.
About 2 years ago, I bought this special edition Pikachu Nintendo 3DS. I paid about ~160 for it, and I could have easily flipped for $200 since it was a special limited edition. However, I hung on to them for 9 months and waited for XMAS time and sold them easily for $400 each. I don’t know how ‘limited’ this bundle is and whether it’s truly a special edition amiibo, but I can tell you Nintendo fanboys love limited editions. So if you believe this will be rare, buy it. If not, pass on the deal.
