This was on Slickdeals and FM’s quick deals. I got this offer on about 11 out of 15 cards. The ones I didn’t get them on were the old school Blue AU (but primary got it), and none of my AMEX Business Platinum cards got it (wife or mine).
This is why if you have an AMEX card, you should sign up your parents, spouse, and kids as authorized users. You will need their SSN’s, so you can’t go nuts. I also wouldn’t recommend adding yourself or duplicate people as AU’s.
Also, if you have 5 cards, when you sign onto AMEX, open up 4 other tabs. Then for tab 1, let’s say you have an SPG card there, click on the Offers and make sure you see the offer in the tab. Then go to tab 2 and say your Platinum card, click on Offers, and make sure you see the offer in that tab. Then do that for the other 2. And before you click on “Save offer” in card 1, double check all the tabs and make sure it’s different cards (because it defaults to card 1 sometimes when you launch a new tab). Last month, I had the Amazon offer on 3 of 5 cards, and one of the tabs was on “Latest Transactions” tab instead of “My offers” tab. Once I hit “Save Offer” on card 1, I went to card 2 to save the offer, but realized it was on “Latest Transactions” and so when I hit “My offers,” it was gone. UGH! Don’t make my same mistake!
How I plan to liquidate – probably buy $100 Sears or Kohl’s electronic gift cards since I shop there a lot. There’s also Target e-gc’s too. The offer says it excludes gift cards, but they seem to work.
Let me know if it works! It specifically states gift cards are not included 🙁
Will do Ryan
