I had bought this Lego Friends Central Perk set back in early September. I thought it looked pretty cool, but I was a bit leery seeing as how I bought 2 of the big ass Lego Millenium Falcon a few years ago, which was bad enough that I sold for a loss, but the box was MASSIVE (think a VERY HEAVY Home Depot large moving sized box.) This Friends set was only $60 and looked “small,” so I went ahead and bought the limit of 2. Took it a few weeks to arrive, and I threw it on Ebay for $130 or so. They sat for about a week, and all of a sudden, they both sold on Sunday night of 9/22.
I told my coworker the next day, and she mentioned it was because she had seen it on the Emmy’s the night before; I think Jennifer Garner was playing with it or something. Of course now I wish I had bought more, but you never know with these things. Lesson learned – stick to small Legos and not huge ass ones.
